we’ve got about 32 minutes on the dot till the new year 2015. currently at my brothers house, relaxing on a bed. reflecting. this year has been a whirlwind of emotions, adventures, frolics, laughs, cries, joy, bliss, sadness, overwhelming, fear, growth, lessons learned, enthusiasm, friendship, love, family, family and family. oh and travelling lots and loads of travelling. the year started off at Walt Disney World! my parents and i celebrated at the most popular attraction for new years, Walt Disney World. it was absolutely amazing i will most definitely say that. i will never forget the colors, sounds, sights, people, and the love and gratitude that i felt for my parents. it truly was a special time for us and a cherished memory forever. also we had just returned from Nepal, my mom and I. and we got to spend a night in Turkey! that was phenomenal. i started my final semester of college. goodness was I so scared. at that point i still had no idea what in the heck i wanted to do with myself. i just continued to remember to live in the moment. i was still working at good ole CCED and we started practicum. goodness gracious was that a life lesson to say the least. i learned that i am a natural leader. i work well under pressure. Am really good at conflict management, and can say my two cents when needed. anyone can like me. And you know what? group projects, group members do not always like each other. going out with friends and enjoying college to its last drop was definitely a thing. celebrating my 22nd with Anagha and having a huge clan with us on our bar crawl was fantastic. family visits to Indianapolis and home. living with Amanda in CV. knowing that I already have some really beautiful people in my life. i spent my spring semester of my senior year with people that i love the most at Michigan State which i am really happy about! i definitely learned that what you put outwards is what you will receive inwards which is exactly what I received in every department. i only applied for only one job and got it, got placed in Mississippi and listened to my intuition and decided not to go. a couple weeks later we found out my brother had cancer. i get warm even typing that. it was such a rough time for my family and i. i never thought I would be okay enough to actually bring it up in normal conversation, but i am. that was a true test of strengths and weaknesses, i don’t give myself the credit i deserve for all we went through. i am so proud of my brother and what he achieved in 2014. i am seriously proud of him. a true inspiration. i went on the longest road trip thus far with my friends! hangout music festival! the greatest EVER. saw front row some of my favorite artists of my lifetime with some of my best friends in the world. had quality time at home and actually enjoyed our new house to it’s full extent possible. love MI summers. made a great relationship with our neighbors and a true bond with Mary Alice and Jack, two very special people in my life. accepted a position in Lansing and out of the blue moved into hedrick! have met some really great people in the house and already have so many hilarious, inspiring, growing, loving, caring, memories. can’t wait to see how much I grow with these people. travels to Holly for her birthday, Detroit, Tori finally came to my house! the most I have seen my family in a year in a while, it’s been a crazy ride! but I wouldn’t have it any other way. i look forward to loving myself that much more and truly embracing the succulent, wild woman that i am! i love you Charisma here’s to 2014 and looking onward peace, happiness, love and laughter for 2015! yeeeee hawwww!
