i am blessed beyond belief that most of my life there has always been those solid friends that will be there for you through thick and thin. and as I have continued my journey in life through K-12 and college, in my opinion I have met the best people on the planet. this is why I can proudly state why my best friends are truly the best. i usually would never make bold statements like that. i am an open-minded person who can see both sides to a story. but there are a few things I stand strong by, one of them being the people I call my best friends are undeniably the best people.

along the way as with any journey there have been countless moments of triumph and defeat. one thing is for sure though I have made the most of it and that is because of you, you have played such a special part in my life. this is a shoutout to all of my best friends you are all equally important to me and mean the world to me. thank you for the laughs, tears, accepting me for all of my quirks, making me feel loved and special, the endless memories and becoming my family. i’m so grateful to have the most genuine, kind-hearted, supportive, caring, inspiring and hilarious friends. never cease to put a smile on my face.

each and every one of my best friends are uniquely mean the world to me. you all bring something unique out of me. and it's always an adventure when we are together. i have been taught so much and have experienced so much growth as a result of being your friend. that only you can bring. this post is dedicated to those people; it goes without saying you know who you are.

i want to thank you for being there for me when I did not want to be around people but you knew I did, so you stayed. i want to thank you for taking care of me, when I was acting like a child, terribly sick, homesick, got a bad grade, or just had a bad day. i want to thank you for being my laughing buddy, the moments we would just look at each other and burst into uproarious laughter. i want to thank you for speaking my language, by this I mean actually understanding the jibberish and lack of sense I often use when speaking, yet no matter what you knew what I was saying. i want to thank you for being my mother, father, sister, brother, really whatever kind of support and love I needed in the moment, you were that for me. i want to thank you for remembering the silliest quirks about me; one of the greatest methods of flattery to me is remembering the small details, which you never seem to forget. i want to thank you for being there for those random nights with me, when I was here, there and everywhere at the same time, when we would run around the city for hours doing completely unplanned activities and not care. i want to thank you for being mad with me, those times when someone upset me and I was terribly sad, you were always there for me agreeing with everything i said even if it made no sense. i want to thank you for being home to me, being with you and just feeling okay with the world. knowing everything was going to be alright because i was with you and no matter what i had you with me. i want to thank you for reassuring me, even though life is always moving fast, my friendship with you has always reassured me that we will be friends forever. o want to thank you for understanding me, wholeheartedly and accepting me judgment free. You have been there for me through everything the ups the downs and the in-betweens. i have somehow managed to keep you in my life and i am entirely grateful for that. i have so many special memories with you, that i will forever treasure, and think of whenever i miss you, which will be often you, can rest assured.there is so much more to thank you for, just thank you, for being you.

to my best friends i hope i can be half as great of a friend as you are to me. i promise i try my best to be. i know for sure being around you brings out the best in me! i wish i could give you all the world to show you how much you mean to me! (if you've hit this point and are like is this a love letter?) YES, YES IT IS. this is a love letter to you professing my undying, relentless, infinite amount of love for you. never forget it!

to other humans out there who are reading this, i hope some special people in your life are coming to mind. i wish everyone to be as blessed as i am to have what they believe to be “the best” friends in the world. remember to cherish them, appreciate them, spend time with them, and love them. life is a journey that is proven to be much better with some loving humans to share your life with. how else would you remember some of your best memories without your friends anywho? the words sung by the beatles never meant more to me, “i get by with a little help from my friends…”
