the journey to Nepal begins!

trip thus far writing from the Mumbai airport around 4am here on Saturday before arriving to Nepal.

wow oh wow! what a whirlwind of emotions this journey has been i keep remembering to thank God, the Universe and my parents for providing me with this opportunity. you see, i have known that i was supposed to come to Nepal for quite some time now. okay maybe not have known necessarily but that's what i've been asking the universe for some time now. there's been an inner incessant voice telling me Nepal is where i belong, even if only for a short amount of time. we hopped on the plane to Newark and it was finally settling in that i was actually headed for Nepal. to our surprise we then headed for Brussels which we had no idea we would be travelling to. we spent a couple hours in Brussels which was cool because we had never been there before. we watched some Hindi movies and i looked at pictures that i brought from trips before when i travelled to Nepal. the excitement was getting hard to contain. in Mumbai now which is honestly an incredible airport. it's HUGE. spent a couple hours wandering around from shop to shop, eating and they even have a garden in the airport! i just love airports. they give a sense of home to me. tons of people from all walks of life. we're all travelling for different reasons but are connected through the fact that we are travelling. people watching at airports is prime. and i've done a fair amount. getting tired as i write but hopefully will write some intentions soon for my trip. looking forward to getting to Nepal the journey is about to really begin!
