Biratnagar family and serenity

we flew to Biratnagar which is another city in Nepal. while there we met with a countless number of family members. due to the wedding starting soon we were unable to stay longer than a night but it was great to see family that i haven't connected with in forever. the love and warmth that you feel is honestly unmatched to anything in the world.

life in Nepal is so different than life back in the states. you are forced to appreciate everything that you have because you are given it in limited quantities. water is rationed by house, electricity goes for hours at a time every single day, food can be limited depending on your financial state. whereas in the states we are given these things like we are entitled to them. in Nepal everyone is so grateful for the light that they do a prayer of gratitude when the electricity comes on. we are so spoiled in the states. it's insane.

Biratnagar is a beautiful city that is far less populated than Kathmandu. although it is debatably the second largest city in Nepal next to Kathmandu you can definitely see the difference in crowds as well as pollution. everything was blooming there, grass was green and people were over-joyous to see us, the feelings were mutual on our end. so happy we had the opportunity to travel to Biratnagar. grateful doesn't even begin to describe how i feel. absolutely in love with this country.
